The Violet Ray, was the largest use of the Tesla Coil. a patent that Tesla gave away for free. With no ability to patent or own it the AMA deemed this machine "Quackery" in 1952. Tesla had 700 patents before he died , and we are currently are using his patents in 60-70% of what we use in society today. Hmmmmmm, welcome to pharmaceutical world we live in today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYUdkpEFSoE&list=LLp8VW-WdrbD62-YyZTTNAUA...

After a whirlwind Internet fundraiser that raked in more than $1 million, a Shoreham nonprofit has made a successful offer to buy Wardenclyffe, the lab on Route 25A in Shoreham where Tesla researched wireless technology between 1903 and 1915. The nonprofit, Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe, signed a letter of intent Friday, according to real estate agent John O'Hara, who represents the seller, the Belgian company Agfa. After a period of due diligence, the sale should be closed by the first quarter of 2013, he said.
Very cool Joel ....what a great opportunity !!! Kleepung my eye on this :D

If I can get out ot my own way and find a hour, this center is only 25 miles (if that) north of here. I'll find enough drama to miss out on a nice day trip, Buth if I dont' get all in a twist over something not worth my time I wouldn't be me. :-).

Expand commentLuckily I live in the epicenter of Brooklyn at a high point of elevation so for my hood it was a glorified wind storm and not much more. Some of the pics coming out of Manhattan and Long Island were quite something, like footage from 'The Day After Tomorrow.' You're in Toronto now (Hopefully last night you were). That's great, you collect the machines! How much would one cost?

U know Tesla charged himself everyday and he lived. Double the life expectancy!!! Pretty incredible :) We ship all over the world :D
I really love Staples so if I were going to pick one way to die dramatically, I could do worse. OK I'll definitely put that on my wish list. Have to pay some bills first. by the way, how's the acting scene in Toronto? Do you speak French?
