After she learns that it was her boyfriend & coworker, Ted, who pitched the “Vintage Fusion” line concept behind her back, Caitlin quits her lucrative Manhattan job. She moves to the charming historic town of Pine Grove, Connecticut.

In Pine Grove, Caitlin rents a cottage that comes with an unexpected treasure—a 1943 Singer Featherweight sewing machine belonging to ADALINE TAYLOR, a legendary 1940s dress designer who mysteriously closed her shop and disappeared from fashion history. When the cottage's handyman, NICK WINTERS, a former college football star turned master craftsman, helps Caitlin repair the machine, they discover Adaline's hidden workshop containing perfectly preserved vintage gowns—a secret collection that's been waiting seventy-five years to be found.
