How are you Charles?
Curtis: Great to connect with you. I actually have used National Black Theatre as a rehearsal space for a play. Look forward to seeing what synergy in future projects may happen. Stay in contact! Theo

It is my ambition and goal to help develop this story as a film project to fruition for my dear friend Waymon Lefall, the author (we're both from Tejas, too!) Yeeha!. So that you know Waymon is now 75 years old and he has been a influential businessman in the Baltimore, MD civic, business and education community for over 30 years. He has been blessed to write about this "Jocko" an unsung story of history that has been more receptive and accepted in Australia than here in the USA. You must have a chat with Waymon to truly understand the circumstances and issues of WHY this has happened! Anyhow, once you apprise yourself of the story and embrace the history, you will see why I would like to develop and produce a possible feature film that will enlighten the world about JOCKO, a young African American boy who inspired George Washington. As the story goes........Jocko held horses for George Washington at the Delaware River December 25th 1776 and froze to death overnight while on post at the river, as an honor for his patriotism, George Washington commemorated Jocko by having a statue made in his honor and placed upon the lawn. Later to be identified as the lawn Jockey! See the Jocko YouTube trailer: http://youtu.be/q2iH-Xg4bpU See: http://www.blacknews.com/news/book-jocko-long-way-from-home-down-under-w... P.S.......Please let me know if you see any opportunity of having this JOCKO project being developed as a feature film of any substance beyond what's presented from the animated trailer now on Youtube.com: http://youtu.be/q2iH-Xg4bpU Also I have several other "Unsung Historical Stories" for development as projects for your review, as well as, my own Interactive Movie & Television Trivia Game Show that I've created called HOLLYWOOD FLASHBACKS! I'm currently seeking development deal and producer for it too! (See more at http://hollywoodflashbacks.angelfire.com) Kenn Hinton www.imdb.me/kennhinton kennhinton@gmail.com (Ph): 571-228-4424
