About Luis

Luis Servera was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. While in high school, Servera enrolled in the Ghetto Film School which selected him to direct “Alma de Mi Padre” filmed in Mexico City. It was broadcasted on the IFC channel while he studied film and philosophy at Hofstra University. During his time at Hofstra, Servera created his own production company with a team of fellow students. His thesis film “Rainbow” won an award from Hofstra University and was selected to appear in the New York Shorts Festival. Upon graduating, Servera quickly became involved in directing music videos, most notably “The Sun” featuring Mr. Lif which was broadcasted on MTV, MTV U and MTV 2. Soon after, Servera was hired by Wieden & Kennedy where directed, produced and edited promotional videos for Nike Jordan, ESPN, and Benihana. Now, with nearly 10 years of experience, Servera is excited for the next level in his career.
