Helmut Dosantos (Rome, Italy) moved to Prague in 2005, where he was admitted to FAMU, the National Academy of Cinema and TV of Czech Republic. In 2007, he carried on with his studies on directing actors at the EICTV (Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV) in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. In 2012, he completed his short film “Dissent,” shown in more than thirty festivals worldwide and won several Awards. He is currently working on two other projects: the feature documentary "Gods of Mexico," and the fiction feature film "Ruta Sagrada," for which he was awarded Best International Screenplay at the Rhode Island International Film Festival 2013.
