A woman of colour makes life difficult for her married black lover, and their son pays the price - denied a relationship with his father, and even denied to pay his last respect. 

SYNOPSIS:

Pat decides to take Nelly to Mauritius for holidays, planning to inform her about Linda's pregnancy before she hears it from Linda. He instructs Linda to book flights and accommodation. Linda not only do that, but also book her own flights and accommodation to the same destination.

Pat is shocked to see Linda in Mauritius and tries to coerce her to leave but fails. Back home his brother in law sends his sons to the mountain for circumcisions' ritual without his permission. They return home but he is helpless. On her return from Mauritius Linda resigns. Linda gives birth to a baby boy, but she doesn't survive the labour complications and dies.

The boy is raised by his grandmother who also dies later, before he finish his matric. His uncle tries to sell the house, giving him no choice but to move in with him against his will. He searches for his father and finds him, but Pat sends him back on the next available flight. He approaches the media and his story is published. This revealed that his grandmother left a will, living him with the house and some money - enough to further his studies. He meets his sibling, but is scared to inform him they are brothers. His father attends his graduation, but only because his half brother is also graduating. His father dies when he's on honeymoon, and only finds out six months after his funeral.
