About Shawn

Shawn Lyon is a multi-instrumentalist/composer with 10 years experience writing, composing, and producing music for Film and Television, and 20 years writing and performing music in general. He is noted for composing the music for the award winning animated films of acclaimed artists/designers Jake Portman and Bill Sneed including Forest in Winter, L’Accoutrements, How Puppies are made, and most recently, Of Life and Death. In 2009 he was asked to score the animated short film Lighthouse for Liberty Mutual as part of their Responsibility Project which went on to be praised by the project participants and featured on prominent websites around the globe. A recent score was for the film Four of a Qind, which was nominated for best short film at the 2011 Milan International Film Festival and is currently doing the festival circuit.
