SYNOPSIS:

Set in the present, Tabitha, a rebellious tooth fairy enamored with chocolate, becomes trapped on Earth and needs to catch the next comet home before she becomes human. She arrives via comet using a prehistoric tooth used by all her kind, but looses the bone in her advent.

The only way back is to get a tooth from the exact spot where she landed and catch the comet home in time. However, she has lost her ticket (the tooth) and adding to the dilemma she falls in love with the human who helps her but doesn’t want her to leave. A higher love prevails and she comes to terms with who and what she is.

Just as Tabitha gets the tooth and is about to leave, bullies steal it. Big Butch and his cronies want her as a private fairy slave. Torn between staying and going, the way home through her ticket/tooth is found and lost again, but through a series of magical twists, hilarious adventuresome turns and romantic schmaltz, she does make it back.

The Tourist Fairy is a classic boy meets girl, boy loses girl, but gains a friend with wacky chocolate twist story written for paedomorphic adults.
