SYNOPSIS:

When Ayumi, a young Japanese-American girl, refuses to eat her dinner, her parents concoct a ghost story to scare her straight. If you don't finish your food, they tell her, a hungry monster called a bakemono will take it from you. That night, Ayumi pities the monster and decides to feed it. But her plan does not go as expected. As it turns out, monsters cannot be satisfied so easily.
