Ashley Gonzalez takes a job teaching at Centerstone Middle School only to find out that her school is facing the threat of being taken over by the state for failing to "make it" on the federally mandated tests. She joins a cast of interesting, funny, and bizarre characters who, despite ineffective leadership, manage to keep everything together while supplying plenty of laughter along the way.
