SYNOPSIS:

What would you do if you could know when you're dreaming and potentially even being able to change the course of your dreams? A few decades ago scientists believed they may have found the neurological key to the ability change the course of your dreams when they were doing research on lucid dreamers. A lucid dream is any dream in which one is aware that one is dreaming. In a lucid dream, the dreamer has greater chances to exert some degree of control over their participation within the dream or be able to manipulate their imaginary experiences in the dream environment. Scientists take lucid dreamers and carry out tests on them which leads them into getting powers that allow them not only know when they dreaming but to wish (yen) things to themselves, they are called WISHER(YENS). And they are able to do this without having to sleep but by just imagining them and wishing it. The research goes wrong leading to the killing of the scientists involved and the shutting down of the research. A unit called NYPU lead by agent Alger is formed to hunt and destroy all the remaining wishers (yens) but this comes at a cost to him and his family. 19 years later the fight is still on between the NYPU and the Yens. The Yens are all in hiding, and desperate to their revenge against NYPU. They have not been able to until now as a new Yen called Danny turns 18 and finds out he can Yen. Moreover, his is a special kind of power not seen before with any other Yen as he has the ability to wish things not just to him but also wish then back which allows him to be able to go in the past by wishing himself there. This new ability puts him in danger against NYPU and the leader of the Yen resistance, Bates, who up to now didn’t have a way to get in to NYPU knows Danny is his way in and wants to use Danny to carry out his revenge against the NYPU and will go to any length to get him. It takes the effort of another Yen called Drake to protect Danny against both of this two groups but he soon finds out that the only way to protect Danny is by working with NYPU and stop Bates.
