Seeking fortune & glory, a band of heavily armed interstellar mercenaries accept a contract to exterminate an infestation of voracious predatory organisms threatening to devour the inhabitants of a distant offworld colony.

When mankind begins colonizing new worlds, they quickly discover that some worlds should have been left alone. A race of extremely adaptable and vicious creatures are discovered on what was supposedly a lifeless world, quickly managing to sneak aboard several ships and proliferate across dozens of populated planets before the scope of threat can be realized.

On the distant frontier colonies, there is little hope for rescue or support from the interstellar government, leaving them to either fend for themselves or contract mercenaries to hunt down the creatures before they become an unmanageable threat. Only the most desperate or crazy individuals are accept the work, and many are never heard from again...

But out on the frontier, you find work where ever you can, and pray that you'll make it back home with a decent paycheck and most of your limbs still attached!
