Hey everybody. I am one half of a writing team that focuses mostly on one-hour TV Dramedies. We have several project ideas that are Dramedies and one that is a children's half-hour animated show. The current project we are working on is a one-hour TV Dramedy that takes place in west Texas and is inspired by my writing partner's family.

I would love to get staffed (with my writing partner) and/or get any of our projects into production.

Anyone watching Ozark for the first time? I started it shortly after the third season dropped two(?) years ago. Such an incredible show, IMO. What second episode/show are folks checking out?

Hi, Everyone. Writing team of Thomas & Charlie here. We thought we could use this for getting everybody started on pitching their ideas for the pilot. We'll list ours below:

Our idea for the emotional journey is a story of redemption:

Kermit wants to be free of society, but needs to figure out how to participate in and be a member of society on his own terms. Piggy wants to get her money back, but needs to value what is truly priceless (love, beauty, connection, etc.).

For the antagonist for the show/pilot:

A Hollywood elite that the Muppets refer to as M.D. or Mad Dog and is later revealed to be...Matt Damon!

Story idea for the pilot:

The gang puts on a local telethon in the Nevada area and makes some decent money. From this success, they decide to put on more telethons throughout the country, but being careful to stay clear of the LA and NYC areas so that M.D. does not get wind of what they are doing and try to muscle in on their new cash cow.

I (Thomas) enjoy writing teleplays and screenplays with strong characters and humor. Charlie enjoys writing teleplays, stage plays, and children's literature--particularly focused on female-driven storylines. She's also authored two non-fiction books.
