SYNOPSIS:

The Miners Son depicts how a year of industrial action and violent unrest changed the face of a small tight knit community and their way of life forever! A bitterness that is still felt today.

In a small coastal mining town, a rock band formed out of a group of friends struggle to be recognised. A chance meeting with a bizarre character declaring himself as a record producer gives them an opportunity of a lifetime. Much to the disappointment of their families who have other ideas for their future.

But... is this record producer all he claims to be?
