Maria D'Alessandro

I am the author of the memoir Go Buggy Go which has been adapted into a screenplay. I come from an Italian American family in Boston MA and my story covers my life experiences from my father's murder when I was 8, being a dancer, moving into public housing, meeting my firsy love, through becoming anorexic, marrying my first love who is the bass player in a local band, our life of social drinking and drug use, , having two children, obtaining a Masters Degree and becoming a school teacher, plastic surgery, depression, and then becmoning a devout yogi, fitness enthusiast, working with a life coach, naturopath and embarking on a healing journey which led me to become a health coach. divorcing and remarrying my husband and eventually live the life I've always wanted.
