SYNOPSIS:

After the sudden violent death of one of their colleagues, four women working in a research facility are compelled to find out what drove her to take her own life. In a locked cabinet in their colleague's office, they find arcane tomes that open up horrific vistas from beyond, and in the process they get exposed to cosmic forces that desire a foothold on our world. They realise they are able to be seen as well as to see, and begin to get infected by the psychic influence of a creature that lingers past the threshold of their comprehension. They fear the serpent that strikes in the dark, and realise through their pursuit of knowledge that what is learnt cannot be unlearnt - and regret ever venturing down the path of their curiosity and unbecoming.
