PICKET SIGNS & FIRING LINES
By Roberto Negron

GENRE: Drama
LOGLINE:

As a Tyrannical U.S. President's fear-driven regime begins to unravel, a band of humanitarian workers forge an uneasy alliance with a powerful criminal syndicate to sabotage his weaponized police force --- igniting a fierce, darkly comic struggle as he fights to hold on to the Presidency.

SYNOPSIS:

A group of humanitarian workers operating near the Arizona-Mexico border grow increasingly frustrated by the obstruction of their life-saving efforts by corrupt Border Patrol and ICE agents. These agents uphold a cruel immigration policy under a newly authoritarian U.S. president. Feeling powerless against official forces, the workers turn to a radical strategy: targeting the agents’ families to deter them from enforcing harsh policies. As fear spreads and agents abandon their posts, the president is forced to reconsider his stance and explore more humane immigration reform.
