About Dwayne

Dwayne Conyers is the author of a highly rated screenplay on The Black List. His screenplay was rated as a top ten screenplay in the 2011 Cinequest Film Festival. He was featured screenwriter in the 2010 Beverly Hills Film Festival. He won 2nd Place in the 2009 OBS Screenplay Competition.

Dwayne is a graduate of the Warner Bros. Comedy Writers Workshop. He studied with the late Luigi DiFonzo at Harvard, the late Carl Sautter via the American Film Institute, and with script guru Michael Hague.

Dwayne was assigned an episode of the late ABC series “Living Dolls” (starring Oscar® winner Halle Berry and "King of Queens" star Leah Remini). His portfolio also includes substantial multimedia writing, including training video for the White House and interactive video programming for the Ministry of Defense, Republic of Singapore.

His expertise extends beyond writing into producing. He is writer and producer of three web series and numerous short films on the Dwacon YouTube Channel. He was Executive Producer of independent film “High Point,” raising the majority of the production budget and arranging foreign and domestic distribution opportunities.
