GENRE: Romance, Drama
LOGLINE: A romance-dramedy in the Bay Area about a confident asexual Black founder and her eclectic circle of friends discovering that everyone is someone's type, but only you get to decide what type they are to you.

SYNOPSIS:

TYPE is a slice-of-life romance-dramedy that treats love, sex, and survival as everyday realities—not plot devices. Led by asexual CEO Anai, an ambitious young Black woman, she and her multicultural friend group moves through the full spectrum of modern relationships with grounded humor, messy specificity, and the kind of relatability that makes viewers text their group chat. The show is called TYPE because it is about the different types of people you meet—gay, straight, nonbinary, married, single, parenting, wandering—and the capacity you hold for them. Friend? Foe? Lover? Enemy? Soulmate? Ex? Admirer? Stalker? TYPE argues that everyone is somebody's type. The question is: what type are they to you?
