An outcast cop must team up with ornery redneck woman to fight an ancient evil force that fuels the wackiest supernatural phenomena in rural Florida, all while trying to solve her own mother's mysterious death.

SYNOPSIS:

When Officer Anne Steven’s mother is killed in a mysterious hit-and-run, she returns to her racist and backwards north Florida hometown to get to the bottom of things. Met with micro-aggressions and macro-supernatural-Weregators, Anne soon finds that her mother’s death and the string dead bodies popping up may be connected to… The Entity. With no allies in the police department, Anne’s only friend may be the town pariah: quintessential ‘Florida Woman’, trash talkin’, and piss-standing-up lesbian named Dale. It’s up to this odd couple to defeat the Weregators and ultimately decide they need to decode the secrets of The Entity to solve Anne’s mother’s murder, Dale’s father’s disappearance, and prevent future Florida-specific supernatural phenomena from running amok.
