Novelist-screenwriter August Ellsworth likes breathing unapologetic complexity into BIPOC and LGBTQ characters who don’t (always) do the right thing. The recipient of the Vermont Studio Center Award for Writing, his dystopian novel OOGA BOOGA (penned as “Gerry Walker”) reached the top of the Amazon Bestsellers List for African-American Thrillers. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
