Location Department 101: How You Can Pick and Successfully Manage Your Film’s Locations There are two things that a production starts doing as soon as they have the “green light” - casting for actors and scouting for locations. It’s more of a gamble than relying on remakes, sequels, or other projects that already have brand awareness and a built-in audience. Yet this doesn’t have to be a deal breaker for you or your script.
