About Zahida

I am a native Angeleno, and like most of us here, a lover of movies and television. I started producing shorts and have now forayed my experience into producing my first feature, The Becoming. I am excited about the new venture as I am a big fan of the horror genre and I feel this film is the perfect blend of family drama and horror. Looking forward to connecting with fellow producers, investors, and all of the hardworking people here on Stage 32.

The Green Room (2016)
Television (Comedy) Producer Patrick Jason moves to California to secure the Job of his dreams - studying the biochemistry of plants. But when no reputable company is willing to hire the inexperienced young twenty-two year old, he turns to the only place that will allow him to work with plants. A medical marijuana dispensary known as the Green Room. It's a classic fish out of water tale as the straight laced Patrick must work with the wacky Green Room employees like Raffi, his chronically high boss, and Anoush his straight laced sister/co-owner. Charles a.k.a 9mm, the super scary security guard, Maureen, a girl who values weed over people, Autumn, the spacey cashier/ activist who can't remember what cause she is picketing for, and Brian, the prankster extraordinaire. Film by Rich Sturdevant (Drama) Actress, Miscellaneous Crew Follow a normal day in the life of three abnormal people to see what it's like to walk in another person's shoes for a day. Shot entirely in subjective camera, the audience will experience a day in the life of these three characters by hearing their internal monologue, dialog, and by seeing what they see as they go about their daily business. Since the movie is all about perception, all three characters lives intertwine in a scene that each character perceives completely different, leaving the audience to decide for themselves what really happened on this normal day.
