Hello all, I have been reading about another artist recently that wrote music for some other artists, but he didn't check and sign the contract. He went straight to working on the music and when it was done just handed it over, now he's taken to social media to vent his frustrations. Although I feel for him I also think he made a grave misjudgement in not checking all the documents or getting any other advice. Backstage has a good article on things to look out for: http://www.backstage.com/advice-for-actors/business-of-acting/the-top-10...

Any time a contract is involved, it's worth getting an attorney to have a look. Better to pay a little now than cost yourself something more later. Good advice, Tony.

Thanks RB, I couldnt agree with you more. I would imagine they now have a costly legal fight on their hands. All could be been avoided with a little common sense, something in short supply these days.

Can't argue, my friend.
