It's not narrative but it is animation. The main character of the animated series I'm writing is the brand ambassador of a tech company. They use her for many different things. One of those things is a scripted AMA format that releases new episodes quarterly. I write the scripts for them. The latest episode just recently released. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sNtPlK5DuI

Any idea how it’s animated? Some form of performance capture, or is it pre-animated actions that are dropped in to match the script?

What a neat idea for marketing! It's interesting that your marketing video is 2.5 minutes, but your episodes are only 6 minutes.
I watched your first video and the two thoughts that came to mind are that the character reminds me of a Twitch streamer with a similar concept. I think she goes by Mika and she uses Unreal Engine to do the motion capture. It took a while to get used to but the process of how she did it is cool. VTubers are a big thing now too. Lastly, I think my gamer friends might like this a bit too much!

Mike Boas It's performance capture with a full body suit. But it's done out of house by a studio we hire so I'm not directly involved in that portion of the process.

@Karen "Kay" Ross, that's because of the difference in cost. This is way less work to produce for everyone involved.

@Tony Pham they're definitely trying to plan on the VTuber concept with this video series.

Great animation, Terrence Sellers. I'm not sure if I've ever seen animation like that. Great marketing tool also.

Terrence Sellers I can see this being pretty successful, I mean the overall quality of this render is amazing! Could I ask if the animation was done using motion capture?
