Oliver Stone would be a big influence on me. His use of multiple angles, rapid cuts, maybe a cutaway during a conversation, things like that.
Steven Spielberg and Sergio Leone!
This is a very good question to ask and I cant wait to see more answers!
Vanilla Sky (Cameron Crowe) had a big influence on me.
I haven't got a fix or rigid influenced yet, but my first short film was very much inspired from the Terrence Malick's visual treatment style being a narrative short film. Tree of life's visual execution is what i am talking about specially.
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Probably Martin Scorcesse and his mastery around arc and slider footage including aerial.
I can't think of any films that have influenced my directing style but there have been/are a few Directors whom I admire. I respected Hitch's direct creative/ technical approach (but not his personality). I like Clint Eastwood's laid back style on set that allows others to creatively expand and grow.
Everything influences my writing (even if it's what NOT to do :) ) I would say Modern Family and Parks and Rec influenced me the most because they are what inspired my to write comedy.
Edgar Wright and Quentin Tarantino.
Steven Spielberg, Damien Chazelle, Alfred Hitchcock, Tom Hooper, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick and Rob Marshall.
Billy Wilder, Sam Raimi, Wes Craven, Harold Ramis, Steve Rash, Brian Trenchard-Smith.
