Movie Directors

Hi Everyone, what's your thoughts on Greenlightmymovie? I Have a fresh twist on a Sci fi movie including several concepts revolving around the look of the Realm and the creatures too and have sculpted the overall image for it.

Sounds interesting, I would like to hear more

Hi Eric, to cut a long story short the film is set in 2147 yet 2 years earlier an R&D facility was working on a Genetics program from Alien DNA found in a Large meteorite orbit Saturn, to the public they only manufactured resins, resources and castings for Hulls but in a Deep project they were creating the life from the DNA making it Adaptable to Earths environment, they are successful in both the life and the fauna and expand their industries across the Globe, some Duration into the testings and its obvious it has become dangerous with some scientists refusing to continue because of the fatalities in the labs, activists become aware of the issues being leaked and the industry comes under fire for their silent projects, an activist manages to Hack the containment protocols unleashing the Variants from their pens, the first stage of the pandemic is the spores from plant life causing large scale fatalities and in the following 2 years is the conflict to contain the growth of the variants across earth, the film begins with the the main characters holed up in a groundlock (an Energy Station) built above and below ground and fortifiable from the threat around them. There's more to the story I could write forever lol but there is also a main mission to this story that will help them gain an extra foothold over the problem they face.

Allen, very cool idea...btw, did you draw those creatures? Cause if so...looks like if screen writing doesn't hit for you soon enough...you definitely have a future in tattooing!!! Amazing details

I've used both several times. Greenlight is $30 a pitch. Never gotten a read request of my material through them. Not worth the money. Virtualpitchfest.com is only $20 for TWO PITCHES and it's a little more user friendly. They're much more specific on what each producer, manager, or agent is looking for. I've gotten several reads through them. But GL also has video pitches if that's more your thing. VPF does not. And stay away from inktip unless you've got a low-no budget script. Just my two cents. Good luck

Thank you for the insight I might look into Virtualpitchfest :) these are just a few of the creatures I created for the story, I wanted something more integral to the theme it is the variance of alien life that has become a part of the Earth and alien plant life also sits amongst Earths fauna, some of the Alien variants aren't a threat yet it has become a Safari of sorts, there are different classes survivors have categorised mainly those that are an immediate problem when confronted, the idea was also to introduce a vary of creatures different to what most movies deliver and not the typical earth like similarities making the Alien life more foreign by looks.

I've been looking, it looks good it says there's a Number of pitches you can submit I have one Story written the most apart from several that are just projects with conceptual work :)
