MY JULY FILMMakers Club WEEK #3- Disabled Anthem

This is the closest I can come to representing my song,

They called us broken—

But we were bending light.

They kept us hidden—

But we were born to fight.

Told us to be quiet, told us to stay small—

But we are thunder, and we will not fall.

[Chorus]

✦ This is Wonderland—where truth takes flight.

✦ We ride with dragons, we burn through night.

✦ For the silenced, the haunted, the ones who survived—

✦ We are the story, and we’re alive.

[Verse 2]

We built this kingdom

From pain they couldn’t see.

We wrote our freedom

In scars and poetry.

We don’t need castles—we rise from the mud.

We don’t need saving—we are made of blood.

[Chorus]

✦ This is Wonderland—where truth takes flight.

✦ We ride with dragons, we burn through night.

✦ For the silenced, the haunted, the ones who survived—

✦ We are the story, and we’re alive.

[Bridge – Soft, then rising]

In every house they left to break,

In every law that won’t remake,

In every voice they tried to drown—

We’re rising now. We wear the crown.

[Final Chorus – Strong, marching tempo]

✦ This is Wonderland—not built for show.

✦ We’re the roots, the rage, the bloom, the glow.

✦ No more silence. No more shame.

✦ We are the movement. Remember our name.

And this is the moto for it.

You're welcome, Toshia Poundstone.

Here is my logline:

In a world where silence is survival and difference is punished, a disabled warrior rises from ruin to ignite a revolution with nothing but a broken body, a book, and a voice that won’t stay quiet. This Is Wonderland is a story of radical inclusion, told through the eyes of those the world was never built for. Hope that this is better than what I had before.

WOW love the lyrics!! Your logline also sounds a bit like a book query, where it's not exactly clear and is mysterious which for a book query or jacket, is perfect! But for a logline, might need to be honed in a little, though your writing is quite eloquent and the story and song sound wonderful! <3
