Filmmaking / Directing : Idea for movie title by Tony Byrd

Tony Byrd

Idea for movie title

I'm working on an crime anthology film ala Fargo. The segments are a Village Called Gravity, French Touch, Detective Jones, Strange, Tokyo, Dark Porno, Perfect Murder, Chinatown, Picking Fights and The Path. I need to find a title. Do you have any title suggestions?

Tony Byrd

It's part of true crime.

Karen "Kay" Ross

Do you have to pick a title? As is true with dialogue, it's often the last thing to change. Up until it's sold or in production, you can just choose a "working title" and that can easily be one of the ones you've started with. From the ones you've offered up, I'd go with "Picking Fights" or "A Village Called Gravity".

Debbie Croysdale

Do these stories intertwine? And at what point?

"Love, Crime, and Money" or simply "A life of Crime"

Tony Byrd

The stories interwine. The point of the stories is that they are in the same state Michigan.

How about Motives?

MISHIGAMI PASSEL. Thought more one liner, MACRO umbrella cos there's too much going on in your script to include everyone's story in log line.
