I have been asked by an associate for help to locate completed short films, to screen their film in Los Angeles, for FREE.
--Would screen over the next 6 weeks--
--Theatre and screening itself provided and arranged free of charge--
--You CAN sell tickets yourself, and keep the revenue--
--Minimum running time 30mins, max 40 minutes--
If you have one, contact me direct here on S32 to discuss details.

Seriously... on a site full of filmmakers, no one wants to take advantage of this? In two days I haven't had one reach out here.
I get paid to show my work..

Hi, Shadow Dragu-Mihai, Esq., Ipg. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Distribution Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge. If you edit your post so it starts a conversation that’s helpful or educational to the community (like giving advice or asking a question) or you're asking for feedback, it can go in the Distribution Lounge. Click the downward arrow in the top right corner of the post and select “Edit Post.” Let me know if you have any questions. It was really busy the other day, and I forgot to move your post to the Your Stage Lounge.

Willem Elzenga 2 I guess you missed the part that says you sell the tickets and keep the money without paying for the room.... This is a business after all.

Maurice Vaughan So I think you should reconsider this one. This is an opportunity for independent filmmakers to get some distribution started and make some money. Frankly, so long as a "question" is posed, it is way too common to post links to sites and articles which are published only to promote a mainstream project here. That does independent and aspiring filmmakers no good. This does and no one is making money off it except the person who might be able to take advantage of the opportunity.

I agree, it's an opportunity for independent filmmakers, Shadow Dragu-Mihai, Esq., Ipg, but the post still needs to start a conversation that’s helpful or educational to the community, or you need to be asking for feedback. That's for indie projects and mainstream projects.
Distribution for your film, free, where you get to sell the tickets and keep the money, by an outside releasing agent (not us), is by definition helpful to the community. Period. Putting the post into a spot only set out for "promotion" ensures no filmmaker will see it, which is unhelpful. If Netflix were offering that, it would be left in the forum, everyone knows that.
