Hey all! I'm Jamie and I started out as an actor but have been getting more and more into screenwriting and producing.
My short serio-comedic script, "Harpazo," placed as a quarter finalist in ScriptWrite, and won me "Best First Time Screenwriter" at the Script Awards Los Angeles, and I'm planning to act in / co-produce it later this spring. I've been making the set pieces and costumes myself since last fall (including the giant cockroach and twinkie currently sitting in my garage). Up to my neck in sewing, woodworking, hot-gluing, networking, planning, writing, an re-writing!
I'm also shopping two completed feature scripts: LGBTQ+ themed comedy-action creature feature "SHNAKE!" and "A Midwinter Night's Dream" - a Shakespeare adaptation written with the Hallmark channel in mind.
