Introduce Yourself : Introduction by Azrael Arlington

Azrael Arlington

Introduction

Hey everyone, I’m Azrael Arlington — an actor, musician, and storyteller. I started in music (rap, country, trumpet, and even Disney-style songwriting) but found my passion in bringing characters to life on screen and behind the mic.

I’m drawn to roles with emotional depth and stories that wrestle with identity, faith, and inner battles. Outside of acting I love world-building, writing original characters, and even running airsoft scenarios that feel like mini-movies.

I’m here to learn, grow, and connect with other creatives. If you’re up for swapping feedback or collaborating, I’d love to connect.

Maurice Vaughan

Hey, Azrael Arlington. Welcome to the community. What are your favorite genres to write?

Azrael Arlington

Fantasy and literary fantasy. Between the two worlds I’ve developed and created that’s a what holds most of its weight.

Maurice Vaughan

What are your projects about, Azrael Arlington?

Azrael Arlington

Maurice Vaughan I created a universe. gods, aliens, planets, and nearly four languages now. As of right now I have, five to six stories of the universe as WIP.

Maurice Vaughan

Sounds interesting, Azrael Arlington! Is it a book series, movie series, or show?

Azrael Arlington

Maurice Vaughan it’s a book series I hope to one days see as a movie or tv series. it has some great potential for it, but it will be a life time of dedication.

Maurice Vaughan

Are you going to adapt your first book into a screenplay/teleplay yourself, Azrael Arlington?

Azrael Arlington

Maurice Vaughan I am not familiar with screenplay/teleplay writing myself, so my hope is too make it a best seller later in life, to where a producer and screenwriter can take it and say "Hey this is a good story how about we adapt it for an animation or movie."

Maurice Vaughan

You could make a collaboration post for a screenwriter on the Job Board, Azrael Arlington. www.stage32.com/find-jobs

And you could post about your book series on your profile. Producers search profiles on here for projects. Click the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and select “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to “Loglines” and click “Add/edit loglines” to the right of “Loglines.” You can also post about your book series on your profile this way: www.stage32.com/loglines (near the top where it says “Add a Logline”)

Maurice Vaughan In all honesty I do not know which story to even begin on. I have a huge Universe that is as large as DCU and even the MCU, so developing it or describing it in itself is actually an entire book in and of itself.

Maurice Vaughan

Maybe start with the story you're most excited about, Azrael Arlington.

Azrael Arlington

Maurice Vaughan Yes, I would love to do so when the book is complete, and I am looking to do something with it. But in all honesty My universe will take a lifetime to complete before others want to see it in a visual way. In a sense, y goal is to write and create like Stan Lee and J. R.R. Tolkien.

Maurice Vaughan

Keep us posted on your book series and the adaptation, Azrael Arlington. I'm looking forward to reading the books and seeing the movies/TV series!

Azrael Arlington

Maurice Vaughan You are more hopeful than I am. Right now, all I need is to get some feedback and more help in directing where to go with my story. I am good at writing, but not good at setting up the Outlines or story ideas.

Maurice Vaughan

You could make a post on the Job Board for someone to give you feedback on your manuscript outline/help you with the story, Azrael Arlington.
