Hello Stage 32 family,
It’s been a little while since I last posted here, so I thought I’d take a moment to reintroduce myself.
I’m Charmane Wedderburn — a storyteller working across screenplays, television, and literary fiction. Many of my stories explore themes of transformation, identity, and the hidden emotional worlds that shape us.
I’m happy to share that my poetic psychological novella How I Became a Fish: The Skin That Betrayed Me has just been published on Amazon. The story began years ago as a screenplay and eventually transformed into a literary work about shame, collapse, and the possibility of redemption. Like many of my projects, it blends symbolic storytelling with emotional realism.
Alongside the book, I’m continuing to develop several screenplays and television projects and always enjoy connecting with fellow writers, directors, and producers here.
Looking forward to being part of the conversations again.
Wishing everyone a creative and inspiring week.

Thank you, Shadow. I work in casting support and production coordination with several casting agencies here in Switzerland. Being around the casting process has been incredibly inspiring and has helped deepen my understanding of storytelling from the screen perspective as well.
