I am April Ranck Co-founder of the Arlington International Film Festival. The festival has three components: 1, Artist/Graphic design: Every year the festival invite students from different high school and/or college to participate in the Poster Contest Competition 2. Educational/encouragement: Invite High School Students to participate in the filming competition local, national and international. 3. Independent Filmmakers from around the globe. The goal of the festival is to collaborate or partner with organizations in town and beyond and to foster an appreciation for different cultures by exploring the lives of people around the globe through independent film — to nurture the next generation of filmmakers.
