Hello everyone. I'd like to re-introduce myself. I've been away from Stage 32 for a while. I'm a retired high school drama teacher. Since retiring in 2017, I have written or co-written 12 features and 2 shorts. A film I co-wrote (The Great Turkey Town Miracle) was in theaters and is now streaming on Amazon Prime. I have optioned 5 other scripts, all of which are looking for financing (of course). I just wanted to say hi and encourage everyone to keep writing. I'm in the third act of my life and am enjoying a passion I never saw coming. Cheers!

Hi Steve and thanks for taking the time to reintroduce yourself! It's great to meet you. Congratulations on all your successes. That's incredible for you. 12 features is impressive! Hopefully your financing all works out. What are you writing here recently?

Hi, Steve Dini. Great to see you again. "The Great Turkey Town Miracle." I know what I'm watching on Thanksgiving/Thanksgiving week.
It's Week 3 of Stage 32's November Write Club. It can help you reach a goal(s), it's a chance to connect with writers, directors, producers, etc., and you can get support for your goal and projects. Week 3's blog came out yesterday. There's three prizes you could win this week! www.stage32.com/blog/november-write-club-week-3-how-to-make-a-strong-fir...

Hi Elle and thanks Maurice. I appreciate the warm welcome. I will check out the November Write Club for sure. Elle, I am working on another feature and co-writing an episodic. My latest option just had a pitch deck attached and my producer is shopping it around, so we'll see. I not writing anything here. Did you mean have I posted a script on Stage 32 or a script I am working on currently? Thanks again...best wishes

Thanks, Maurice. My producer seems well-connected and her pitch deck is slick and professional, which I hope will help. She has a long list of investors, studios, friends and contacts she's planning to pitch and has lots of meetings set, all of which are after the first of the year. My other scripts are all in another producer's cue - they're finishing up principal photography on the film ahead of me, so I should be next in line. Thanks for taking another look at The Great Turkey Town Miracle. I think it's a wonderful movie for Thanksgiving. Thanks again - I appreciate the enouragement

Thanks, RB- actually, it was advice from one of your Stage 32 team that got me back in the game after a bout of "I'm gonna quit." Keep on encouraging writers!

Steve Dini Hi Steve!!! So nice to meet you, lol, now I know your grand daughter and I share names. Wow, that is such an amazing journey, and congratulations on all the hard work and scripts that are moving, and the movie! I am also an actor, so always love seeing drama or former drama teachers about.

All creatives and pros, Steve Dini. All of 'em.
Thrilled to hear it was someone on the S32 team that gave you that little nudge. Feel free to give them a public shoutout if you'd like!

Impressive. maybe you can give my SETESH 2025 on youtube a look? It is a full feature with a huge cast and multi-state locations, even a real motorcycle club.

Foxxay - Hello. I'm not sure I understand your question, but I am the writer, so I am not involved with the financing part of the process

Hi Jon - I'll take a look, but as I told Foxxay, I am a writer not a producer. Once I write the script and sign the option, it's pretty much out of my hands unless some re-writing is involved
