I love the idea of writing comedies in an era when most people need to laugh at the awful state of the world. Maybe the state of the world is always awful, but it especially seems so these days. So, I create characters and stories that most importantly make people laugh, but also provides a release valve to the news and issues that plague their existence. Cloning Abby lets the audience laugh at the inescapable issue of whether technology will control us or whether we will control technology. Crazy Black Aliens focuses on an intellectually superior race of visitors fruitlessly trying to understand how sex, race and war work on our planet. The God Of Desire is a story of how the kindness of the world’s most iconic cherub triumphs over narcissism and greed and if audiences love it, there is a sequel. Laughing While Dying is different because it is a dramedy for people who wonder whether their life has been a success or not, which is a big chunk of all of us. I am looking for people throughout the industry who think this vision is worth pursuing. Future posts will go into more detail about the scripts.

Irv Rich Hi Irv, welcome to the IYW. I like the sound of Crazy Black Aliens. How to make sense of sex, race and war works on planet Earth? Well, I suppose I’ll wait for you to provide the answer, Irv, because I’m pretty clueless on how it all works!
Have a great weekend.
