On Writing : Book to Film by Chris Harold Stevenson

Book to Film

I got a Stage 32 email/notation that this might be the thread I should subscribe to if I'm pursuing the book adaption--the book to film process. Might that be correct? I'm in the beginning stages of the process, got my pitch, log lines and a screenwriter on deck. My agent is standing by. I realize I'm a horse of a different color since I don't have a feature script in-hand (so I felt really hobbled). I got a pro evaluation/analysis of the book from another company, only because I didn't see that offered here, unless I completely glossed over it.Real name Chris H. Stevenson (pen name Christy J. Breedlove for YA stuff)

We do have a Book to Screen service! https://www.stage32.com/scriptservices/coverage/buy?id=66&affid=mjm Also, definitely reach out to our Director of Script Services, Jason Mirch, who is excellent at matching projects with potential executives: J.Mirch@stage32.com

Have you adapted a script from a book before? Are you looking for collaborators for that part?

Chris Harold Stevenson

Hi, Karen. So sorry I'm late on this. I NEVER get notifications to my answers in my email. I haven't done the book to film process to the end. I've had tiny options before. Just starting this process, as I outline above. A collaborator would be great. I have all the pertinent info but it's better to lay in down in a proper email. I can be reached at stevenson_333@msn.com Looking forward to any help on this project, and I can certainly reciprocate in kind, in just about any fashion.
