I'm about to pitch one of my books to a Dragon's Den-style group of Publishers. I have it down pat what I want to say, in respect of describing the story and giving my "elevator" speech. I was wondering if anyone's been through this kind of thing before and, if so, what kind of questions I can expect them to ask?
Thanks in advance.
David.
All I can recommend is watching the backlog of programmes and get so versed in the questions they may ask that you're prepared for anything. Good luck. kx

Alas, there isn't time - plus, it's actually a ghastly programme that I'd do all I could to avoid. :-)

The ISBN is registered in my name Jeff, and I didn't need an agent there - it wasn't actually publishers that were there, more like agents for publishers. However, it was good and the feedback I got was very useful. Most didn't know how they would market it, but they said that what I'd written was beautiful and very well written, so that's cool. One has taken my book away with them as they wanted to read more. I consider that a reasonable success.
