On Writing : You have a ticket to anywhere in the world... by Ugo Cavallo

Ugo Cavallo

You have a ticket to anywhere in the world...

you have only to follow these simple rules:

- You can just choose ONE place/city anywhere in the world

- The place MUST help you to achieve your screenwriting dreams

- Explain why did you choose it.

My purpose? Know your thoughts, if for an author is important the place where he lives.

Think about Stephen King, would he have been prolific if he had lived in Italy?

Let me know :)

Yorkshire Dales, England, I do my best writing there and nearly relocated to Hebden Bridge an eclectic Bohemian village but kindly reminded by friends I need try LA first before too old. Though I think the longest journeys are often within, delve quantum for the greatest possible find.

Virginia Beach USA - I've never been here, my latest new screenplay concept is set here, the story characters live here, it's a small beach town but located near Norfolk, central Eastern Seaboard, a crucible of fun and intrigue and containment for this elevated family drama.

Thomas Pollart

Achieving enough award points for staying at Holiday Inns as a sale rep, I earned a one week trip and stay at any Holiday Inn in the world. I chose the Cote d'Azure, Nice, France, partially because this is where Johnny Carson vacationed. Cinematic & adventure filled, time of my life and even came out a winner at the luxurious, Hotel de Monte Carlo, casino ! I can't wait for my return trip when I win the Palme d'Or at Cannes, with my screenplay, Stampede by Lightning . .. Look for me !
