Over the last year my writing partner was tied up on other projects. He finally was able to go over one of the four rough drafts we completed. It is a Western set in 1890-1900. We ventured outside our usual range of suspense thrillers with twist endings, supernatural horror, comedy, and other things to work on a period piece. We focused on a female antagonist and female protagonist as well as including a Native American Tribe, The Southern Paiute. We wanted to show Native Americans in a more positive light as well as showing women as more than taking care of the home and menial work at that time.
Logline: When a greedy land grabber tries to muscle local ranchers out of their land it uncovers secrets from his past and unleashes a rebellion aided by local native Americans and a female bounty hunter seeking vengeance and revenge.
i am just starting the marketing on this script as well as continuing marketing on previous scripts. We have one of our scripts optioned currently. Hoping to find people interested in reading our latest "The Wicked and the Just". Thank you for your time.
