I feel very fortunate that I got a surprising email from AFF notifying me that my short screenplay "Gloomy Sunday" is a Second Rounder this year.
This will be my 3rd time attending AFF as an accepted writer/filmmaker.
Last year I was very lucky to be named a Semifinalist in the same category and in 2015, my short film "Promise Me" made its world premiere at AFF.
Apparently they are now calling semifinalsts, which is reverse of last year. Keep your hopes up, I thought they were done notifying!
