Apps for writing scripts.

I've been using DubScript and My Screenplays both are free on the Android market. I know Dubscript is also an Iphone app, but not sure about My Screenplays. Both export to Final Draft and are awesome for the on the go Screen writer. My Screenplays is a little "clunky" to use but will directly export to Final Draft and a couple other screen writing programs. DubScript is so smooth I have a Note 4 and writing a feature length on it now. There's a couple more steps to format to FDX when using Dub Script, but it's worth it. Does anybody else use apps to write their scripts? What do you use?

Steven Fox

Those are both great! How is the functionality of the Final Draft app?

Laddie Ervin

FD app has just about everything you'll want/need. It doesn't have all the advanced features found in the Mac/PC version, but chances are, you wouldn't use those much anyway.

I've started usinf FD on the iPad, very impressed with it, just need an iPhone version and I'll have it on every device I write on.

Anthony I suggest you look at of try out Dubscript I'm pretty impressed for a free app.

Anthony Cawood

Thanks Steven. will have a look at the iPhone version...

Anthony Cawood

Alas, Dubscript is only on Android...

Steven Fox

Anthony my apologies. I went back to look at the tutorial, so I can figure out the confusion. The guy demonstrated the importing of the file from you phone into a Mac computer. I just assumed there would be an Iphone app then. You know what they say about that...

Anthony Cawood

No worries Steven, fingers crossed they'll get round to an IOS version too
