I am trying to develop an idea for a feature length romance that is just one location and two characters. My intent is to make this movie either next summer or the summer after.
Before I try writing the script, I want to make sure I have a good log-line.
The log-line I have so far is this: A high-strung young woman and an autistic young man, trapped in a cabin during a power outage, fall in love.
Thoughts, please?
Thank you!!

Dear Amanda Murray:
Based on what you mentioned, below is what I updated your logline to be:
A high-strung young woman and an autistic young man, trapped in a cabin during a power outage, find electricity in the air in the form of the power of love flickering around them enticing the light from within to shine towards each other.
If it works with your story, good; If not, all the best as you try to formulate the best logline that you want.
God Bless.
Sincerely,
John German

When a temperamental young woman gets stuck in a cabin with her autistic neighbor (or whatever he is) for a weekend, they must ...(whatever they must do) while finding love along the way. Something like that maybe.
Ryan Rodriguez, I hadn't thought of that idea, but I like it! I can certainly see that storyline playing in my head.
You all make good points in your log-line suggestions. My difficulty was trying to come up with a conflict.
