Screenwriting : Looking to hire a screenwriting coach! by Jesse Wroblewski

Jesse Wroblewski

Looking to hire a screenwriting coach!

Very high functioning and I know how I learn best. Therefore I am looking for someone to (virtually) hold my hand through my first 25 pages (choosing a software as well). Already have my beat sheet and even a sizzle shot.

Anyone interested in beginning this relationship?

Obviously continued work available based on the relationship.

Jason Mirch

Hey Jesse - have you checked out Stage 32 Script Services? We have a number of development executives, producers, managers, and writer/filmmakers who work with screenwriters all the time to break story and develop screenplays. Feel free to reach out to me directly at j.mirch@stage32.com and I will suggest some executives who would be perfect for this.

If you can afford it, I'd suggest Final Draft. If cost is an issue, and you have a Mac, there is a template you can get for Pages that is basically the same format. If you're not in a great hurry, I will take a look and do a perfunctory edit on your first ten pages or so. Could be shorter if I keep running into the same issues over and over. If you address those and want to resend, I'll take another look. Then we can go from there. Connect and drop a line if you're interested.

Hey Jessie - just what is it you're looking for? You got a logline? Send me your beatsheet & pic if you'd like - then we'll talk.

Alex Owumi

Hey Jessie, very happy for you. Send me your logline and sizzle shot if you still need help.

Personally, I've used Writer Duet and Highland. I find Writer Duet easier to use. Although I've heard Drama Queen is quite good!
