Seeking Help Reconnecting With A Specific Reader (Code: D5680)

Hi all,

With the recent shift of Indie Film Hustle’s coverage services from Coverfly to Stage 32, I’m hoping to reconnect with a fantastic reader I’ve worked with over the past six months.

Their notes were instrumental in shaping my script House Rules, and I’d love to continue working with them. On Coverfly, they were listed under the reader code D5680, but with the transition, I no longer have a way to request them via the script services tab or reach out directly as I don't know who they are apart from reader code D5680.

They’d given me permission to contact them after our last round of feedback, but their email was redacted by Coverfly, who have been unable to assist further.

If anyone on the Stage 32 team — or the reader themselves — sees this and can help me get back in touch, I’d be incredibly grateful.

Thanks so much,

Criss Gidas

Hi, Criss Gidas. Someone at support@stage32.com might be able to help.

Criss Gidas

Thank you Maurice Vaughan! I've just emailed writerhelp@stage32.com and contacted Indie Film Hustle as well to see if they can be of assistance but will also email support. Thank you so much for your help! ☺️

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Criss Gidas. Writerhelp@stage32.com is the email for members who've purchased a pitch, coverage, or consultation and have an issue/need an update on their order. It's better if you email support@stage32.com. Hope Stage 32 or Indie Film Hustle is able to help!

Criss Gidas

Ah, thank you for that Maurice Vaughan! I've just emailed support with all the information from my post. Fingers crossed I can find this reader ☺️

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Criss Gidas.

I really hope now that Stage32 will lilkely be getting more coverage traffic that we have an option to select our readers the way Coverfly allowed (For an extra fee, naturally).

Criss Gidas

At least now we're able to see the experience and background our readers have now!

Michael David

Criss Gidas That's true. To me their experience doesn't matter as much as the advice they can give for how to make the screenplay better. I have had an excellent, excellent reader here who gave me immensely helpful advice, that unfortunately I can't ask for again because there's no way to do that.

Criss Gidas

Michael David Oh no! That's frustrating. Would you be able to try and find them here like I am or has it been completely lost to the aether?

Michael David

Lost to the aether, I'm afraid! It's okay, I'm still grateful for any feedback I can get!

If you can't get ahold of him. The Monday Coverage Report could be a new solution for you if you are a writer room member. You get a whole group of readers for your script at one time with valuable insights. It's worth checking out.

Criss Gidas

Jill Godley oh, amazing! Thank you so much for this suggestion. Support is currently seeing what they can do to help get ahold of the reader but I'll definitely be looking into the Monday Coverage Report
