Hey guys, if any of you are submitting scripts for review I know sometimes you can worry about whether it's going to be worth the money. Great insight and guidance is priceless but a simple "you gotta get better" is kinda worthless. I recently received a critique on the first 10 pages of my second feature length script and I gotta tell you, Regina Lee tells it like it is and that's EXACTLY what I want when I'm asking for a professional opinion. She tore it apart, made me see so many things I wasn't, which I suppose is expected from an untrained beginner such as myself. But at any rate, I just wanted to pass on the word that if you get a chance to have Regina Lee take a look at your work, it'll be well worth the fee, priceless feedback.
Hey Otto! Thanks for the words about Regina Lee and the critique! That is exactly the kind of constructive criticism that makes us better as writers. And knowing Regina personally, she has taken me to task a few times too (haha!) and I thanked her for it.
I am glad you found the First 10 review so helpful and I am sure you're going to have a great kick off to your script as a result.
