I admired your work on helping Nickelodeon during their early years, helping it to become the kids’ TV network we know today, and along with your work with the network and your shows like Oh Yeah! Cartoons, the Fairly Odd Parents, Chalk Zone, My Life as a Teenage Robot and Fanboy and Chum Chum, and also helped Netflix launch the Castlevania series. I also how you helped out my favorite cartoon creators get their big breaks in animation, like Butch Hartman, Genndy Tartakovsky, Craig McCracken and John R Dilworth. You helped Nickelodeon and these cartoon creators, so I hope that you could help me get my cartoon the recognized by Hollywood.

Logline:5 Anthropomorphic Koala Bear siblings who live in the fictional city of Eucalypcity California, use their martial arts skills taught by their adoptive human mother, to fight crime and villains, including their mother’s archenemy, Professor Steel Skull.

Synopsis :The series takes place in the 21st century, centers on 5 Anthropomorphic Koala Bear siblings Paul, Bruce, Martin, Jake and Fluffy who were just babies where they were created in an ancient alien spaceship. The professor who discovered the spaceship, wants his assistant to get rid of the koalas. His assistant Rose McScott secretly saves them and destroys the spaceship and her boss’s desire for world domination. She takes the koalas to Eucalypcity California where they live on the outskirts in a very tall tree house, where they watch over the entire city for crime and villains. Rose raises the koalas as her own children and teaches them every martial art she knows so they can protect themselves. The Koalas use their martial arts skills to fight evil and crime in Eucalypcity, while they protect themselves and Rose from the evil Professor Steel Skull, an evil scientist who wears a steel skull helmet on his head, as he continues his quest for world domination. The koala bears go on action packed adventures in and out of Eucalypcit.y The city the Koalas live in is Eucalypcity where it’s located in California and Eucalyptus trees are spread all over the streets of the city., the koalas also enjoy hanging out with their human friends like Stan Popper, Peter Smith and Dexter Rexes from the boyband S.P.D( Super Popular Dudes), Billy Bills and Katelyn Reads , a spy from the spy agency called Area 1. The Koalas enjoy training with their mother in the treehouse courtyard, doing all different types of martial arts that Rose has learned, they even get to learn the most advance fighting styles that Rose knows. The Koalas also enjoy eating eucalyptus leaves from the treehouse they live in and they enjoy eating tacos from a taco restaurant called Pablo’s. The koalas go out in public while wearing hoodies, baseball caps and sunglasses, but when there is crime they take off their hoodies, sunglasses and baseball caps to fight the criminals and villains. The Koalas have a lot of supervillains they fight through out the series along with their mother’s archenemy, Professor Steel Skull. The Koalas also get help from scientist allies like Professor Marvin Popper and Professor Lucy Popper who are both Quantum Physicists , Professor Susan Smith who is a Astro Physicist and Professor Ryan Rexes and Professor Violet Rexes who are both advance technologists . Through the series the koalas fight Professor Steel Skull himself, along with his henchmen Ivan the Poacher, a bald poacher who wears an eye patch that can fire a powerful laser out of it, Crabby, a humanoid crab monster, and Muscle Mass, an extremely muscular man who wears a metal helmet, along with other villains such as the Red Fist Ninja Clan lead by their leader Toya Kye, a living toy doll named Baby Cries A Lot, a lady who communicates and controls bats named the Bat Mistress and her cyborg henchman B.I.G (Bionic Indestructible Gentleman) the Robot King a robot who rules all over the robots in an amusement park that flies all over the world, the Plant Princess an environmental activist turned super villain who controls plant life, a failed magician turned evil magician named Jack the Jack-O-lantern, Zero G’s a rapper that controls gravity, a gang of superpowered freaks called the Street Freaks, the evil billionaire Buster Bills and he’s the father of Billy Bills, Sensei X Rose’s old Sensei who turned evil, Shark Bite a humanoid shark monster, Mr. Magma a man with anger issues turned supervillain after getting hit with a laser that turned his body into magma, Doc Croc a crazed scientist who turned himself into a crocodile human hybrid freak and the Warruses another dimensional walrus who live in a world full of ice. The koala bears have different roles they have in the series, Paul is the leader of the koalas, who gives commands and orders to the rest of the koalas during their adventures to protect the city, Bruce is the muscle of the koalas, he has a tough Jersey guy attitude, Martin is the brains of the koala who has a geeky personality and has an IQ of 500 and in counting, Jake is the skater of the koala bears, who has a skater slacker accent and sometimes uses his skateboard as a weapon, and Fluffy is the valley girl of the koalas who has a valley girl accent, loves shopping and has a crush on Stan Popper.

The casting suggestions I have in mind are, Drake Bell voices Paul, Zeno Robinson voices Bruce, Max Mittleman voices Martin, Jon Allen voices Jake and Kausar Mohammed will voice Fluffy and Sarah Natochenny will voice Rose.

The genres of the show are Action and animation and the show is rated TV-G. The most shows I watched from your studio were from Nickelodeon. I grew up watching most Nickelodeon shows, and I admire the talented writers Nickelodeon has, and so I would like to join Nickelodeon to become 1 of the talented writers and to make my cartoon recognized by young viewers.

The reason why I got inspired to write this script for my series, is to help protect the animals that I love and I don’t want them to go extinct anytime soon. The koalas are an endangered species that need to have more attention from the media. I also got inspired by watching anime while I was growing up. As a man with Autism I’ve struggle with trying to break into the film and TV industry, and each time I pitch Crime Fighting Karate Koala Bears they just rejected it, and I’m tired of getting my dreams crushed. I’ve written over 100s of episodes of this series of mine, and I got my series copyrighted.

I believe in the action packed adventures of the Crime Fighting Karate Koala Bears will be great for all ages. It’s an action thrill ride for the entire family, new allies and villains shall be introduced through the series, with exciting adventures and action in every episode, and it will be great with audiences all over the world, especially in Australia, because that’s the place where Koalas are from.

Something that's been on my mind, these past couple of weeks, which I'll just dump here for the heck of it:

The publicity I've seen for Rings of Power makes me wish I had the connections to get a billion bucks to make a series set in Tolkien's world. (I'd been a fan of Lord of the Rings since reading the novels, when I was in middle school.)

The pasty-faced mediocrities running the upcoming show won't get as many views as they're hoping, and I doubt there'll be more than one season.

If I were in charge, the 1st season would focus on the First Age and earlier, and it would be anime, like Studio Ghibli, so as to convey the difference in era, while the 2nd season, set in the Second Age, would be live action.

There would be episodes focusing on the rise of the Melkor/Sauron faction in the East and Harad and the resistance & rebellion led by the Blue Wizards against the Melkor cult. As a side benefit for diverse casting, this would create way more gigs for non-white actors than what the current showrunners came up with. I'd cast Barkhad Abdi and Tony Leung as the Blue Wizards, Palando & Alatar.

I'd also want to see Tony Jaa as a protector and caretaker of a mumakil herd in Far Harad, who witnesses mumakil being pressed into military service by the Melkor/Sauron faction for the wars in and around Mordor, thus prompting him to get his herd to safety and take on this gang. Or Dev Patel as Khamûl, one of the Nine who becomes a Nazgul, and Iko Uwais as a rebel aided by the Blue Wizards in his fight against Khamûl's forces. Additionally, there'd be rebel Easterlings and Haradrim aiding the alliance of elves and men in their fight against Sauron in Mordor--one could cast Omar Sy as a warrior of the Blue Wizard faction in Near Harad, who's sent to aid the Western forces and eventually joins the Dunedain. (Why couldn't the Dunedain be multi-ethnic, like the French Foreign Legion?)

Ed Skrein would be offered the part of Sauron, with Mel Gibson as Elendil and Christian Bale as Isildur. The principal orc characters would be played by action stars, like Scott Adkins, Stu Bennett and Kit Harrington, and they'd be both terrifying and funny, like gangsters in The Sopranos--and they'd get to say some inside jokes enjoyed by Tolkien nerds with snarky comments about elves, dwarves, eagles and even elements of their own side, like the Nazgul.

Galadriel would not resemble Joan of Arc, either. A mage of her immense power has no need for armor and swords. (She's more powerful than Gandalf, too.)

As for the Nazgul, here's how I'd depict them and chronicle their story arcs, where they were when visited by Anatar, Bringer of Gifts, who bestowed upon them their rings of power:

Tinker: A well-respected town handyman becomes a master builder and designs many structures for the Cult of Melkor and subsequently for Sauron, personally. He oversees the makeover of Minas Ithil into Minas Morgul, the Nazguls' headquarters.

Tailor: The proprietor of a textile mill becomes a purveyor and clothier of the finest fashions, which nets him many spies and spreaders of gossip for Melkor/Sauron. He is the outfitter of the Nazguls' familiar capes and cowls.

Soldier: Khamûl was already a talented swordsman of growing renown among the ranks of Easterling fighters, when he received his ring of power from Sauron, which amplified his abilities. From there, he became a great general and eventual military dictator.

Sailor: An industrious & ambitious swabbie on the deck of an Umbar privateer vessel receives a power ring as a tip from Anatar/Sauron and eventually becomes a de facto fleet admiral of Umbar corsairs, running a protection racket across Middle Earth’s seas.

Rich Man: A wealthy merchant receives a ring from Anatar/Sauron included in a payment for some items, and he subsequently realizes his dreams of political power, ruling his own fiefdom—with the official religion being the worship of Melkor.

Poor Man: A farmer from a noble family fallen on hard times, driven mad from bad harvests, murders his family and receives his ring of power from a traveling Anatar/Sauron, who also helps him bury his family, when the farmer gives him his last loaf of bread. Newly empowered and invigorated, the farmer subsequently becomes a land baron with his chief crops going to fuel vices (barley, grapes, juniper berries, potatoes, pipe weed, etc.)

Beggar Man: A crippled mendicant with a piercing gaze and burning resentment of the upper classes, begs for alms on a city street and receives a ring from a stranger, one fine day. When he puts it on, he’s no longer crippled, and he eventually goes on to become a high priest in the city’s Temple of Melkor.

Thief: A highwayman encounters Anatar/Sauron, who hands him over a ring of power and urges him to put it on. The thief subsequently becomes a powerful crime lord. (His first job is to steal something for Sauron.)

(These eight would all be bastard sons of nobility, and to each Anatar/Sauron says, prior to giving them their rings: “You may not know it, now, but you are a powerful lord.”)

And finally, there’s the Witch King of Angmar, who was ruling Angmar, when Anatar/Sauron paid a call—during which time the realm was going through a rough patch. Newly empowered and invigorated, Angmar’s ruler regains full control of the realm and builds his military.

Those are some of what comes to mind, when thinking about how I'd handle the earlier ages of Tolkien's world in a TV series. However, I am not an entertainment mogul, so I'll just have to settle for sharing these ideas, here and on some other social media platforms. Maybe in the years to come, someone else will be in a position to do something more spectacular with Tolkien's material than Amazon's upcoming waste of money and labor.

Too bad 'cause that's not what this post is about.

It's about Shakespeare.

Back in the day, believe it or not, not only was video not HD yet, not only was it before mini-DV cassette (for my film-school homies), not only was Blockbuster Video just a gleam in Wayne Huizenga's eye, not only did Ticketron have yet to bust their first scalper, but believe it or not movies as we know them DID NOT EVEN EXIST!

◕_◕      ( ͡° ʖ̯ ͡°)       ε(´סּ︵סּ`)з

I know, right?!

And yet, due in part to that no-doubt excruciatingly boring lack of entertainment technology, there were plenty of campfires.

So for lack of cinematic content, what people did was sit around the campfire, fireplace or fire pit in a cave somewhere, swamp, cliff dwelling, jungle, desert, igloo, frozen tundra, whatever, fire was pretty much a survival mechanism worldwide, 

and they would tell stories while the firelight flickered in the darkness, casting moving shadows around the general area, those chiaroscuro moments playing upon everyone's retinas thirsty for any glimmer of drama, or other genres;

Maybe they even made some shadow puppets (Nang Yai) from the skin of a water buffalo.

(Most people don't know this, but the water-buffalo hunters were actually the first Teamsters Local 399).

Anyway, the synthesis, synergy, synchronicity and simultaneity of story-telling with light and shadow stimulated people's imaginations so much that (once they got through the Dark Ages, because the Plague much like our recent quarantine really shut down a lot of things) some clever artists invented the "morality play," coming soon to a theater near you, and then the Commedia dell'Arte traditions throughout the Old World.

Nota bene, at this point, the rural traveling circus in the hinterlands (think micro-budget indie) was so lacking in industry financing that the "stage" was little more than a stick and a blanket with a pocket-sized puppet show in the back of a hay-wagon.

Welcome to show business!

We're talking like zero social media heat at this point.

But then along comes Shakespeare, bringing more than three dozen plays (think spec scripts!) into the 17th century, where he worked the room a bunch, connected with his Network, and then became the first writer/producer/director to gain more than 250,000 Instagram followers.

Well-deserved if you ask me.

So then evolves the tradition of the "well-made play," parallel is the evolution of traditional Italian opera, similar stuff happening all over the zeitgeist, people start making good money, distribution deals, hey I am here for that!

So do you like musicals?

Yes! Only if they're in Italian.

But hey, I loved La La Land (91% on Rotten Tomatoes!) and Brigadoon (85%, not bad! Magical realism before its time, no?).

Anyway, the point is, during the old gypsy days of the roving puppet shows, those folks, who were totally non-union at that point, wandered the hills of Italy and points of the compass 

bringing their somewhat paltry but much-needed entertainment content to lonely farmers' daughters everywhere, villages, encampments, you name it, and they bartered their performance art for a nice meal, maybe a place to crash, some ducatus, doblas, florins, dinars, whatever bits of gold and silver came into the hat.

The thing is, in all the areas, far and wide, cities and towns, crossing borders into other countries, there were at least 375 different languages and dialects of Italian, French, German, you get the picture, and out in the provinces people even spoke so differently that no one, not even the theatre people, could hope to be able to communicate verbally with all those audiences.

No subtitles. Good luck getting international distro.

So what they realized, and Shakespeare arguably perfected, was that for performance to be appealing and entertaining in ways that transcended language, it's got to be visual and active.

Boom, here come Auguste and Louis Lumière, the silent movie is born!

And the commedia dell'arte, Shakespeare and cinema traditions at their most effective ground-level strategy of drama, appeal to about five different levels of people.

Perhaps simultaneously the toughest and easiest audience members would be young kids, those without much schooling, maybe even the village idiot just curious about what is going on over there,

there was a laudable penchant for movement, action, "slapstick" (literally), implications of travel, maybe a fake horse and some halves of coconuts, sound effects, basic choreographed conveyances of scene and "business" on-stage at the most elementary, granular and fast-paced level.

Next up is your adults, farmers, maybe not the sharpest arrow in the quiver, but they're the ones buying the most tickets, always leave them wanting more! If it's on the page, it's on the stage.

So despite the language barrier you've got to throw in some poetic-sounding rhymes, singing and shouting, costumes, references to events, etc., but not too complicated.

Then there are a bunch of merchants, shopkeepers, your bourgeoisie, well-heeled influencers who might even help finance a production, they've got a couple of languages so we want to give them a little iambic pentameter, political references, pop-culture stuff, that might be over the heads of the groundlings, plus some bawdy cheesecake and stuff like that.

Call Adriana Lima!

Above those cohorts in intellect, education and wealth would be the gentry, the church elders, royal court assuming your troupe got past the velvet rope to the bigs, you gotta knock their socks right up their ass or you'll never work in this town again.

This is where the script calls for an intricate character web of relationships and subplots, implications and themes, subtext, a high level of intellectual craft.

And finally anyone even smarter or more demanding than those folks, i.e. other artists, journalists, publishers, agents, entrepreneurs, TikTok kids, gamers, studio execs and development people, intellectuals, Democrats, theater owners, hyper-wealthy financiers and those who could potentially finance an entire season or put the kibosh on your dream with a bad review.

So as a screenwriter, author, playwright, actor, filmmaker, director, producer, we are trying to build film concepts and stories, screenplays and properties that carry on that tradition of doing the grinding work to create cinema that can appeal to each of those different levels of audiences on a different plane of story with all that entails, 

and have it feel and be integrated and seamless, a well-made tapestry of organic, holistic unified flow and spectacle, sex drugs and rocknroll that will be something people want to see again and again, tell their friends about, 

lie awake at night dreaming about, remember their whole lives, laugh and cry, it's the many many levels of story where we need to dig deep and think of all the diverse facets of our own psychological material and the ways we connect with all of humanity in our minds and hearts, and take it seventeen levels beyond our own experience and imagination with metaphor (and lots of rewrites)

this is why it might take a year to write a decent script instead of a long weekend.

So if you are a screenwriter and you're striving and yearning for success, just know that we stand on the shoulders of giants.

Many of you are aware of the feature film, S.O.U.L., which we are developing. S.O.U.L. is a biopic based on our lives, which gives you a brief glimpse into our very different upbringings, going into adulthood and the struggles along the way. The film will chronicle the life choices we each made that almost destroyed us both, and then the unbelievable way our lives came together. From that point, we show how 2 people with our own baggage worked very hard to keep our demons in the past, and how faith played a large part in ultimate redemption. We truly believe it is a story that audiences will relate to. And honestly, the fact that Bobby was a Chippendales dancer, which is also chronicled in our story, will be a factor in drawing audiences in, especially with the huge success of “Magic Mike”. Our story will not glorify male dancing, but if that factor draws audiences in, and they walk away with a redemptive message, we have succeeded. We have been working extremely hard on this personal project for over a year, taking it from a short film to the feature we are now preparing for. We are actors first, so have assembled a very qualified production team to guide us in every step. The most exciting development is securing a Letter of Interest from Armand Mastroianni as our director. He actually advised us on our script and feels we have a very relevant story to share. Mr. Mastroianni has directed Tom Hanks, Eric Roberts, Faye Dunaway, & Cybill Shepherd among many others. He has over 60 director credits and has also produced many projects. It is an honor to have him believe in our film enough to direct it. We also have Bruce Nahin, co-founder and former CEO of the Chippendales, as our Associate Producer: Business Affairs. He brings us years of experience and has multiple film credits also. Our Director of Photography is Bill Schweikert, who has filmed actors such as Paul Sorvino, Mickey Rooney, and Martin Sheen with his state of the art Red Epic cameras. Two new additions to our production team have also been made. Donald Markowitz, the Oscar-winning composer from “Dirty Dancing” has signed on as our composer! We are so honored to have him, as he will be heavily involved with Bobby in helping add Bobby’s original songs to our film. In addition, F.X. (Frank) Vitolo has now officially come on board as Producer & will be coordinating every aspect of the production and has already been heavily advising us. He has extensive experience producing, especially in Mississippi, & was a personal advisor to the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman. He is known as a major connector in the film & theater world of New York & Los Angeles. We are in great hands with these men, along with the rest of our team. While we are waiting to fill some key supporting roles with named talent upon funding, we do have some impressive cast already attached. Joe D’Onofrio from films such as “Goodfellas” & “A Bronx Tale” has been cast as the tour boss, “Reggie Stallion”. Donny Boaz currently stars as “Bo” on “Dallas” and will be our “Jet”. Bill Sorvino, nephew of Paul Sorvino and cousin to Oscar winner Mira Sorvino, is also a great actor in his own right and is our “Grant”. Escalante Lundy, from Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained” is cast as our “Dr. Fletcher”. We also have Santiago Cirilo from “The Walking Dead” as “Officer King”. Many other great talents are also attached. We are playing ourselves in the film – we feel we know the roles best! With a script we all believe in, impressive initial casting, and a business plan in place, we are now ready to seek investors to get our film on the screen. Our preliminary budget is just under $3.4 million. We have already been fielding some very positive possibilities for funding (these take time), but we would also like to introduce our business plan to friends and family who may have interest in supporting us. At this point, we do not want to solicit funding through public crowd funding campaigns. We prefer private investors that we could deal with personally and bring on board as executive producers (depending on the size of contribution). While it is a risk, the potential return on investment is huge! All of this is detailed in our business plan. Recently, we have also begun to seriously consider the prospect of filming in Mississippi which has a very nice incentive rebate program, which could account for 25-30% immediate return for qualified spending. We have already received our Mississippi Financial Commitment letter which has approved us for an incentive rebate of $822,255. This means that investors will receive an almost 25% of budget immediate return upon completion of filming. While this is exciting, it is also very special to possibly film in Mississippi, because it is Angela’s home state. If you are reading this and you are from Mississippi, PLEASE help if you can! There will be opportunities for 100’s of extras and featured roles, and I would LOVE to use as many local friends & family as possible!!
