Last night I caught up with my emails to get the fortuitous news that EPICENTER had requested the pilot script of my TV drama off of my written pitch. After half dozen written submissions through multiple pitch fests - all of which came back with TREMENDOUSLY VALUABLE NOTES along with the "pass" - I kept chipping away at my 2pager; and even had a nearly page-1 overhaul of my script based on a very succinct, on target, exec evaluation that resonated with me immensely. So beyond the request which is most definitely the cherry on top, Happy Writers provides not only a platform for untapped talent, but also and most importantly, an ever evolving learning experience to all involved. My immense gratitude to the tireless work of Joey Tuccio, RB and all the staff at Happy Writers and Stage32 who seemingly keep on topping themselves every time out. As Roberto Benigni once proclaimed to a beffudled American audience "I wanna make love to you all" - Or something like that. Be well everybody Cheers Neto
