I have (or had, because I don't seem to find them anymore) a few projects listed in Stage32 and one of them seems to be a success story: I'm talking about "Softwaring Hard" - a feature documentary about software with interviews in 13 countries on 6 continents. The project started in January 2013, when I started to search for second unit directors all around the world. I used the Stage32 platform for that and all the second unit directors were found on Stage32. There's 10 second unit directors in 9 countries who helped me with this project. 3 of my interviewees also have Stage32 accounts, so at least 14 people from the project worldwide team have Stage32 accounts. There are probably more, because I don't know if the crew members in other countries are Stage32 members or not. In conclusion, Stage32 helped me big time for "Softwaring Hard". Huge thank you! And the big times for it are still to come (hopefully): I have a total of 55 interviews (all of them shot during the summer-autumn-winter 2013-2014) and I'm editing hard (so the making of would be titled "Editing Hard") to finish post-production by mid May, so I still have about 3 weeks to show it to a focus group, get some feedback and make the film better before the official world premiere on June 6th 2014 at Dollar Cinema (6900 Decarie Square) in Montreal, starting at 6 PM. Please check the official trailer (another one is in the works these days) and the official websites, where you can download the press release, only some photos, or an entire press kit.
