An insomniac word spinner who aims to have, by morning at least, a glistening web of well-woven text. Like Penelope* of old, I often have to unpick it all and start again. You fellow keyboard-bashers know the routine as "rewrites". By day, I have my head in the cloud (web content writer) and my fingers glued to the desktop, overstretched and underpaid. lol. Why do we write? Who knows? If we word smiths would only give it up, we'd cure ten million cases of woodyallenitis overnight. My particular sickness is science fiction. I've written two sf novels and right now, I'm converting one of them into a screenplay. Well, I'd better run, I have a script to fix. See you at the bar. Mine's a G&T, thank you. *Penelope, wife of Odysseus, in Homer's Odyssey, wove a burial shroud by day, but at night she unpicked it.

If your novels are as well written as your introduction, they are worth reading!

Great intro Fiona. And so refreshing to meet someone who remembers that science fiction was once something that was written down on paper for people to read. Keep that up. :-) (Oh yeah, and I also call it sf. I still believe it's more dignified that way.)
Thank you so much, Vincent. I appreciate the compliment.

Great to have you in the community, Fiona!
I THINK I'M YOUNGEST SCREENPLAY WRITER OF ,, STAGE 32. A BABBY WRITER. LET'S SAY THAT THE BEGINNING WAS PRETTY IN TERESTING. ..AND TOUGH .I PARTICIPATED IN THE CONTEST ''PAGE AWARDS,,BUT DID NOT GET VERY FAR.UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME.HOWEVER, FOR ME AS A BEGINNING, IT WAS A WANDFERFUL EXPRRIENCE, FROM WHICH I LEARNED A LOT. NOW PREPARE A SCRIPT FOR CARTOONS AND ALSO A CHILDREN'S BOOK WITH THE SAME THEME. ALSO, RELAX MAKING CLAY STATUES. I'M GLAD FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY TO COME INTO CONTACT WITH ARTISTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD.I DO NOT GIVE UP. FOR ME IS A HOBBY. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT, ENGLISH IS NOT MY NATIVE LANGUAGE AND ACES WILL NEED A TRANK LA TO FOR MY WORK. ANY QUESTIONE? ...I'M HERE
